If you’re an organisation thinking of coaching for your workforce

When leaders perform at their best, everyone wins…

When senior leaders perform at their best, the positive effects radiate outwards — to colleagues, customers and ultimately, to your bottom line. You attract and retain the best people.

Your leaders become more confident in their role, with the ability to inspire their teams and develop a proactive problem-solving mindset. This confidence leads to a greater sense of belonging and engagement - your people feel invested in and valued.

As an executive coach, I work with leaders on a range of topics - successfully reaching their next promotion, transitioning into a new role or partnership or being more effective in leading their team. This can be as a stand alone coaching assignment, or as an enhancement to a leadership development programme.

How can executive coaching help solve your people challenges?

In late 2024, Helen Tuddenham Consulting conducted research with smaller professional services organisations. The report “Building a Stronger Future: Using Executive Coaching to Build and Nurture Talent in Smaller Organisations” discusses the results of this research.

Highlights from the report and survey:

  1. 61% of survey respondents said that they felt that their staff didn't have the right skills for the current or future needs of the business.

  2. In the survey, 44% of firms that had used executive coaching saw increased profitability. Not one respondent said that they had not seen any benefits.

  3. Around half the survey participants had not used executive coaching or used it very infrequently, citing cost, expected return on investment and whether it would work in smaller organisations.

  4. Research supports the argument that executive coaching is versatile and can address many organisational and talent issues. These include improving leadership skills, impact and influence, strategic thinking, confidence, and self-awareness. It can be particularly useful to help people transition into new roles.

If you’re an organisation thinking about L&D Consulting

You probably want your valuable talent to feel fulfilled, stay with you, and perform at their best.

It could be that the business is changing, growing bigger, and you need new skill sets. Or perhaps an additional layer of management would free up your senior leaders for more strategic, long-term thinking.

Which learning activities would help? How do you fill the skills gaps? And, when you’ve found the right people, how do you hold on to them?

As a learning and development consultant, I bring peace of mind. I can ensure your business reaches its current goals, and help you develop a healthy learning and coaching culture which secures the business into the future.
